2020/21 Abstract Competition

         November 24, 2020

We encourage you to share how you are utilizing Golden Helix software in your clinical research work!

Golden Helix strives to enable precision medicine by developing powerful software to support researchers and clinicians with complex analyses. One of my favorite events of the year is our abstract competition. This competition allows us to help our community by recognizing innovative ways to conduct genomic analysis. I am pleased to announce that our 2020/21 Abstract Competition is coming up!

We would love to hear your story:

  • How do you incorporate the ACMG or AMP guidelines into your clinical workflow?
  • In what ways do you utilize NGS analysis to treat patients?
  • Is there a particular disease category-focus, or are you zeroing in on a specific population?
  • Do you work with CNVs?
  • How do you leverage our research platform for plants, animals, or humans?

We’re interested in your clinical or research work. We intend to showcase the winner’s abstract as part of our global webinar series; this is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure as we have hundreds of attendees from a worldwide audience. On top of the blog post and webcast, the winner will be receiving a Dell Latitude 5000 series laptop with a one-year license* of either VarSeq or SVS. The second and third place winners will receive a one-year license* of VarSeq or SVS based on their individual preference, in addition to the opportunity to highlight their research via a webcast and blog post.
*winners will receive a new license; will not count toward an existing license renewal

Last year’s competition

As you might recall, last year’s competition was a huge success. We ended up with three great abstract winners. Each of our winners presented a webcast on their topic. If you missed these you can access the recording through the links below:

Submit your abstract for a chance to win!

This year’s competition will run from today, December 8th, 2020 to March 1st, 2021. You can find all of the details for this year’s competition here.
