It’s time to kickoff one of our favorite events of the year, the annual T-Shirt Design Competition! The Golden Helix Community came up with some great ideas last year. We cannot wait to see how everyone’s sense of genomic humor has improved over the year!
Here’s how the competition works:
- Draw it out or write it down; we accept either illustrated or written designs.
- Email your designs to marketing@goldenhelix.com.
- Golden Helix, Inc. will select a number of finalists to advance to the GHI Community Polling level.
- The three designs with the most votes will be put into production and unveiled at this year’s ASHG conference in San Diego, CA.
Don’t forget, we’re offering cash prizes for the top three winning designs!
- First Place: $200
- Second Place: $150
- Third Place: $100
(All winners get to take home their winning shirt.)
*The competition closes August 6, 2018.
*Design concepts should be focused on genomics.
We will send out a vote to pick the top 3 designs, and winners will be notified on August 20, 2018 and announced on August 27, 2018. But, everyone will have to wait to get their hands on the newest t-shirts until ASHG on October 16, 2018! (You do not need to attend ASHG to compete or win, but you should since it’s such a fantastic conference.)
