Golden Helix Leaves Its Fingerprint on the Cure with EA at ASHG

         October 31, 2012

Golden Helix is proud to announce our participation in EA’s 2012 “Leave Your Fingerprint on the Cure.” This event will be taking place at ASHG 2012 in San Francisco at the Moscone Center on November 7th.

The fifth annual “Leave Your Fingerprint on the Cure” was designed by EA to help raise money for researchers in their efforts to discover genetic markers linked to disease. Every year, EA commissions the creation of a mural with blank flowers. ASHG attendees can then paint in the flowers and leave their fingerprints in the center, and for each flower completed, EA and corporate sponsors donate $75.00 to a research hospital. After ASHG concludes, the mural along with the donation check is transported to that year’s chosen research facility where the remaining flowers are completed by patients and staff.

This year all proceeds will be donated to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, one of the top children’s hospitals in the United States. As part of University of California – San Francisco, the Children’s Hospital is dedicated to ongoing research that saves lives and improves the health of patients.

Golden Helix wants to extend a heartfelt thank you for the work EA is doing, along with allowing us the opportunity to participate in “Leave Your Fingerprint on the Cure.” The UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital is a commendable recipient for this year’s campaign.

Golden Helix, along with all the participants, look forward to “finger painting” for this great cause! Stop by booth #508 and join us!
